Getting music into the app

From a Mac

  1. Connect your iPhone to the Mac and select it in the Finder sidebar.
  2. Click “Files” and drag your music files onto “beatVale”.
  3. Open beatVale; new songs appear in the Library.

From a Windows PC

With the Apple Devices app from the Microsoft Store (or iTunes): select your iPhone, open “Files” and add your music to “beatVale”.

With the Files app

Put your music in a folder on your iPhone, for example under “On My iPhone”. In beatVale, tap “Add Music” and link the folder. The files stay where they are.

From iCloud Drive

Link a folder from iCloud Drive in beatVale. You can put folders and files together on a Mac, or on a PC with iCloud for Windows.

Which formats does beatVale play?

MP3, AAC (M4A), FLAC, WAV and AIFF. Copy-protected files (for example from Apple Music) and multichannel recordings with more than two channels don’t play.

A song has no cover

beatVale shows the cover embedded in the music file. If there is none, you see a placeholder. A music tag editor lets you add a cover to the file.

CarPlay

Where do I find beatVale in CarPlay?

Connect your iPhone to your car. beatVale appears as an icon on the CarPlay screen. If it’s missing, open Settings › General › CarPlay on your iPhone, choose your car, then “Customize”.

What do I see in CarPlay?

The same three areas as on iPhone: Home, Playlists and Library. Tap a heading to see all entries, and a cover to open its songs.

Sound

How do sound profiles work?

A sound profile holds all the settings on the “Sound” page. Under “Use Automatically With” you assign outputs to a profile: CarPlay, Bluetooth devices, the iPhone speaker or wired headphones. When the output changes, the matching profile turns on by itself. Each output belongs to one profile only.

How do I turn all sound functions off for a moment?

With “Original sound”. Your settings are kept.

Purchase

How long can I try it?

14 days, with every feature and no limits. After that, unlock beatVale with a one-time purchase of €9.99 / $9.99. There is no subscription.

I have a new iPhone. Do I need to buy again?

No. Sign in with the same Apple Account and tap “Restore Purchase” in beatVale’s settings.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles App Store purchases. Request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
